The Sunshine Series, a number of working prototypes, answers those critics who hold that art has no purpose. Inspired by the figurative lamps, shampoo bottles, tables and candy dispensers that surrounded me in my youth, these pieces differ only in the total lack of subject, beyond the figure itself.
