Main Street at Policeman's Creek
Canmore, Alberta
King Malcolm III of Scotland was famously known as Ceannmore or ‘Great Head’. This seven and a half ton stone head was made for the Town of Canmore, in Canada’s Rocky Mountains. The combination of great mass and calm that I find in the area has been recreated in the big stone head. Ceannmore was made possible by the Town of Canmore and the Alberta Foundation for the Arts.
